They certainly seem in line with what we were expecting, and by that I mean $200 bucks and a November release date. November 20th to be exact.
They’ve been holding back the pricing now for quite some time, and I’m convinced it’s the first piece of news about the game that’ll give people to bitch about. While there’s no doubt it’s expensive, it’s also totally worth it once you’ve played it. But you also have a lot of different options if you don’t want the band-in-a-box option.
The box art has the PS3 edition marked as a “special edition” but I have no idea what the difference is yet, except that the guitar on the PS3 is $20 cheaper so maybe it’s something to make up that difference.

The prices(if true) aren’t as bad as I would have thought. The boxart looks very twee as well.
Perhaps the Special Edition will be a package rename or, indeed a special version with some sort of surprise.
Overall, it looks genuine to me.
