Remember last month when Jimmy and Utopaline crashed the X08 event in Toronto in an effort to answer your most pressing questions? Well we’re back, and this time we’re bringing the bug guns.
Myself (that’d be the aforementioned Jimmy) and PlayStation-guru extraordinaire Ryan “Newsome” Hewson will be hitting PlayStation Canada’s annual Holiday Preview Event tomorrow, and we’re going to be putting on the thumbscrews to get you some answers. What would you like to know?

Right here is the perfect place.
I’d like to know if they have any plans to make Home necessary in any way, because I’ve ditched the 360 as my main console to avoid Avatars and dont want to be forced to use one on the PS3

Heck i think I know what their answers would be killquick…
“yes” and “before the end of the year”
but Dan’s question I will definitely direct at someone as it’s more about the philosophical approach… i.e. is Home needed for any functional online gameplay or is it purely optional?

When are the playstation cards going to be released in PAL territories
When does the Resistance 2 public beta start (exact dates please), and how can people outside the US enter as there is no Qore for Europe/Australia/New Zealand and Gamestop isnt offering preorder codes.
Yes I know its a long shot since it is a Canadian event but cant hurt to ask

ryan i really hope that home comes out before the end of the year, it was suppose to be released with the new firmware that is coming out but it was pushed back again, (carl) i think that best buy has the psn cards you are looking for.

meh. it’s all good have fun Jimmy, I think I’d get beat up if I went to this event, lol. Me and my anti $ony flag flying in the wind, hehe. Have fun, and even though it’s $ony I’m still up for large swag dude.

while your out there try to get some home beta codes for us here, we would really appreciate it (especilly me, i want home beta from the launch but could never score any with the luck i have) anway, enjoy the mini vacation you guys and remember don’t “drink & fly” (lol)

hey jim i hear that home is suppose to be released 10/24/2008 is that true? put so pressure on the to give up the skoop on the actual release date and dont forget to score us some beta codes at the same time (musle head lock should do the trick)
