Love the idea of portable Guitar Hero but hate the execution of Guitar Hero: On Tour? Sure you could opt for the Guitar Hero carabiner, but wouldn’t you rather something that was a little more… good? Well then it’s time you heard about Video Games Hero.
Video Games Hero is a DS homebrew title that offers 65 tracks and a host of play modes. It supports the On Tour guitar grip if you do own it, and best of all? Most of the music is from video games. We’re talking Monkey Island, Kung Fu, Metroid type stuff. If this was on store shelves I’d buy it in an instant. Mind you that’s the eagerness talking — I’m downloading it as we speak.

The tunes are probably cool, but the stylus looks like an awful way to play such a game. May as well sit back and down some paperwork while you’re at it.
