German designer Moritz Waldemeyer made this Pong Table for the elasticmind exhibit over at the Museum of Modern Art. It uses 2400 LEDs and two track pads to get the Pong Effect. Even doubles as a standard table when all the LEDs are off. Not a bad way to updated the retro classic.

It boggles the mind to think how good this game could have been. Oh well, Playing Starcraft will more than ease the pain.

Video games have had some very cool “Easter eggs” ever since the first one appeared in Atari’s adventure. The following one has to be one of the weirder ones that I have seen. I’m not going to spoil it for you, just in case you want to check it out for yourself. In this case, just get in a helicopter and head to the Statue of Happiness- there’ll be something waiting for you inside. If not there is a video after the jump. Over at cubeecraft.com, They have some pretty sweet “cubed” version of familiar video game characters. They run the spectrum from Mario to Sam & Max. Remember these are papercraft, so some assembly is required.
