Diablo III Overature on iTunes…. for FREE

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

Man o man it’s turning into “free shit day” here at thebbps! Fine with me cause I’m broke as a joke and there’s tons of games to buy in the coming weeks.

While browsing the itunes music store this evening I managed to stumble over this song from Diablo III, and because it’s this weeks “Discovery Download” it’s totally free (but with DRM cause itunes sucks). Still, if it’s free it’s for me.

Castle Crashers Soundtrack is awesome, free, complicated

by the hammer of Jim Squires!

If you own a 360, you’ve played Castle Crashers. If you’ve played Castle Crashers, you’ve heard the soundtrack. If you’ve heard the soundtrack, you’ve had an eargasm. Now you ears can explode their waxy goodness anytime you want, as the entire Castle Crashers soundtrack is available online and for free.

The catch? It was lovingly compiled by some forumites on GameSpot using links to the individual tracks hosted on Newgrounds. That means getting every single track is going to take a little more work than a simple one click download. Is it worth it? Blue Knight says yes.

Wordpress keeps eating the link. Here it is for the fourth time. I’m going to go buy a gun.

BitCast Supplemental: KBBPS Radio Returns!

by the hammer of Jim Squires!

Back by unpopular demand, Jim breaks out the sexy sound of his voice and the slightly less sexier sound of his record collection and spins the hits of your favorite game soundtracks. This week we mellow things up a tad — but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a *little* tubthumping going on.

Rhythm Tengoku Gold coming to America!

by the hammer of Jim Squires!

This has to be the best news to come out of the show. I feel like I’ve gushed on about how much I loved the import only GBA release Rhythm Tengoku endlessly, but somehow not much of it has ended up on the site. Regardless, it makes my top 10 all time releases. A rhythm game by the same team behind WarioWare? How can you not love it?

No word on a release date, but the Japanese version of Rhythm Tengoku Gold hits at the end of the month. Now I’m stuck with a conundrum — import or wait?

Game Life has a great hands on. Bonus points to Mr. Kohler for turning me on to the original title when it launched a few years back.

Every Shadow Priest you’ve ever known

If you’re into WoW, this should have you making shittles in your pants with laughter. If not, enjoy a Muppets classic with some text that should completely confuse you.

Blanka Sings!

God bless Facebook. A friend of a friend of a friend is in the photo. It scares me to think I’m three degrees from this madness.

BitCast Supplemental: KBBPS Radio is on the air!

by the hammer of Jim Squires!

This week we decided to change things up a little. Rather than hearing the smooth and sexy sounds of our voices we thought it might be fun to let you listen to the smooth and sexy sounds of gitboxes and piano-key neckties. KBBPS Radio is our first stab at putting together a music show for the gaming masses. Give it a listen and let us know what you think! If you like it, I’m sure we can bang out another episode soon.
