Aerial Shots of the Motorstorm: Pacific Rift tracks |

For an early PS3 title Motorstorm was pretty good. Not great by any stretch, but good. The terrain got a little too monotonous for me, after a while you just had to get out of the fucking desert.
So Pacific Rift is taking it to the jungle, which you think in the end might suffer from the same problems of variety, but taking a look at the tracks below I think they’ve found a way to keep the tracks a little more unique this time round.
I was kinda sorta on the fence on this game before, but after seeing the photos below I’m totally in the “buy column.” Make sure to hit the jump, there’s 16 all together thanks to NeoGAF.
Badlands: “A giant track, racing at the feet of a giant cinder cone, Badlands has a name that’s perfectly descriptive. Wait until you see the enormous active crater you need to jump over, or the blind, sheer precipices you need to tear round at high speed if you’re to have any chance of winning. And let’s not get into the collapsed tunnels and the huge canyon jump that crosses the track 75 feet in the air. These are MotorStorm lands. These are Badlands.”

Of all the weird shit about me, the weirdest thing is most likely my affinity for Curling. To say no one follows it here on the east coast might be a bit of an understatement, since most people laugh at me when I tell them I like it. But fuck them if they don’t get it, it’s a good time. Hell my TiVo is set to record anything with Curling in the title and every few weeks you’ll see something pop up on ESPN 8 (you know, the Ocho).
