Review: Soul Calibur IV (PS3)

Role playing games and fighters, specifically. So while I was head over heels in love with (and awesome at) SoulCalibur for the Dreamcast and later with part 2 on the Xbox, I’ve sort of waxed and waned on the genre since then.

But there was so much interesting here that I decided it was better to not wade back into the water but to dive headfirst into the deep end. Do I manage to stay afloat or do I end up drowned at the bottom of the pool? Continue Reading »

Soul Calibur IV Custom Character Chaos Part I

by the hammer of Tim Horn!

Soul Calibur IV’s character creation seems like a load of fun. This video from GameTrailers features Link, Shredder, Harley Quinn and a few others beating the frackin’ hell out of each other. Fighters aren’t my cup of tea, but seeing Harley listed as one of the characters in this video is the only reason I watched this. She comes equipped with her trademark outfit (well, as close as they could get to it) and has been armed with a massive, red, squeaking hammer. Hot stuff. Hope you like it!

By the way, what characters have you created? I’d love to see or hear about them.
