Mario in the style of Rembrandt shirt at Woot!

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

Ok, I’m not going to take a lot of your time, it’s late and I want to go to bed. But for Saturday 11/8 while supplies last, Shirt.Woot is selling this awesome Mario Bros. inspired shirt. It’s $10 and free shipping. Also, remember to check the site on Sunday as well when they’ll feature another shirt with the “Video game as Art History” theme. It’ll probably be awesome. Yesterday’s shirt sold out FAST, so word to the wise…. buy often and early.

Vicious Gobbler Tee at Jinx

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

Oh, Jinx…. you always have the coolest shit. In all honesty almost all of their shirts could fill their own post, but this one just got a real chuckle out of me. Pac-Man does truly look vicious and it’s around this time that it probably occurred to the ghosts that they should not have fucked with the Pac.

Here’s the link, in all it’s women’s tee glory!

Donkey Kong Shirt from Turntablelab

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

TurntableLab.com out of NY (and now LA) has always been my one stop shop for DJ mix CD’s full of crap that would give the RIAA a coronary, being that they basically play and mix in whatever they want… mixes be damned. I’ve always been attracted to their stock of clothes as well, since they often employ the same mashup style as the CD’s they stock.

Now they’re almost always limited in number, and expensive in price. But the quality is high and it’s something you won’t see every other chump who lives near a Hot Topic wearing. This Donkey Kong shirt is a pretty good example of the off-kilter stuff that can typically be found there.

Tetris in nature shirt on sale at Threadless.com!

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

9 bucks and 9 bucks alone (+shipping) will net you the sweet shirt they’re calling “Amazon Addiction.” It’s a sweet Tetris inspired design that’s still a tad subdued, just the way I like ‘em. And as far as high-quality t-shirts go you’d be hard pressed to find something in the sub $10 range.

No telling how long the sale is gonna last since it’s their “back to school” sale. So get on it while the gettin’s good.

I could go on for another paragraph in an attempt to pad this post, but I’m not gonna insult your intelligence. Consider yourself informed!

Always keep your Bullet Bills locked up separate from your gun

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

SplitReason always seems to come up with some of the coolest game design shirts out there, and this light gun inspired one is no different. There’s a ton of little Nintendo nods in here. my favorite definitely being all the ammo being Bullet Bills.

It does bug me however when the bright orange version of the light gun pops up since that wasn’t the first (classic) one, but I guess an all gray handgun would just look like a handgun and the point would be lost.

T-shirt shows what happens to fancy controllers when the NES boys roll ’round

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

Punk controllers jump up to get beat down! At least according to this t-shirt I saw at Target the other night. Send a warning to all those out there about to disrespect the NES, other controllers have come and gone but in the end the NES crew’ll beat ‘em down.

No telling how many your local target will have or how long they’ll be available… but this one was a scant $12! Not to shabby for a fine t-shirt like this one.

Alpha Battle shirt on Woot!

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

So the most recent theme was the alphabet, which doesn’t exactly sound game related…. but someone made it work. On top of that it was the top vote-getter which means you can buy it in t-shirt form!

Typical Woot! awesomeness apply, it’s only $10 and there’s free shipping. Downside? It’s only available for today.
