I still haven’t had a chance to try the WiiWare version of Toki Tori yet (I know, I know — I’m lazy), but the cute characters and quality puzzling secure it’s high spot on my to-do list. In the meantime I can enjoying grooving to the smooth sounds of Toki thanks to developer Two Tribes posting the soundtrack on their website as free mp3 downloads.

Editor’s Note: Since writing this post I’ve lucked into a copy of the original Toki-Tori on for the GameBoy Color — and I’m hooked.

If you happen to be both a footie fan and one of the geeks/otaku that’s enjoying the WiiWare service (his words, not mine), I can’t imagine a better wallpaper for your computer to enjoy. There are a good number of variations with different nationalities represented at the official Toki-Tori site. Check them all out here.

I’m downright embarrassed that I haven’t played this game yet. Anybody out there had any experiences with Toki-Tori they’d like to share?
