Mila Kunis says she quit WoW, I think she’s lying…

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

I should say first off this isn’t a post to talk about a hot female celebrity playing games, though that in and of itself might be newsworthy enough. No this is a video that proves how easy it is to go off on a tangent when talking about World of Warcraft. I often wonder how we often spend way more time than we planned talking about WoW during our weekly podcast… and after watching this clip I’m no closer to having an answer but at least I know we’re not the only ones it happens to.

She becomes visibly embarrassed after mentioning the word guild but still just can’t stop talking about it!

I like how she refers to it as “the game” and while she claims to have quit over a year ago she rattles off some very specific new features due to hit in the upcoming expansion.

Fast-forward to 3:45 for the WoW talk….

Wrath Date Sort Of Accidentally Announced?!!!

by the hammer of Kevin Alexander!

Browsing WoW Insider this morning it’s hard to miss “The Big…News”. No, George…Costanza is not GETTING MARRIED!!!! but it seems that according to what is supposedly an official Blizzard ad on mega popular WoW database site Wowhead The Wrath Of The Lich King will see release on November 13th, 2008. If that’s the real deal I imagine we’ll know soon enough especially since another big MMO launches this week, EA’s Warhammer Online. Blizzard’s good about making big changes to WoW whenever something like that happens.

So, are you ready for Wrath? Will it be creating a Death Knight or levelling to 80 and exploring the new areas for you?

UPDATE: Looks like the official WoW site has confirmed the release date! Let the celebration and excitement begin!!!

“The Lich King invades stores on November 13th, 2008! Retailers throughout the world are accepting reservations now for the next epic chapter in the World of Warcraft experience – Wrath of the Lich King. To reserve your copy today, link over to any of these North American retailers.”

Thanks Scott!!

Blood Elf Rogue Vs. Draenei Paladin statue

by the hammer of Dan Zuccarelli!

Well, it ain’t cheap…. but Sideshow Collectibles always knocks it out of the park when it comes to quality. So if you’re really into WoW (or hot blood elves) then you most likely won’t be disappointed.

It’s set to release in May 2008 and will set you back the steep $299.99. It’s 18 inches high and weighs in at a hefty nine pounds! (That’s what she said).

Few more shots of the statue after the break Continue Reading »
