Well, finally some Guitar Hero news I can get behind! It’s hard to find pro GH news round here, what with them killing the franchise and all.

But in an effort to make Activision do something cool, Blizzard has stepped in. Well, actually Blizzard house band Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain (best band name ever) has to contribute their song, “I am Murloc!”

Here it is in action (whoever played this isn’t all that great, but it gets the job done)

It might only be useful for character movement, but hey, with all the WoW that I play if I were able to mix some exercise into it I wouldn’t complain!

In case you don’t play WoW, Onyxia was previously a 40-man boss fight. Of course, that was pre-expansion… and just recently Ardent Fury took her down with 7 men (and a run through the welp caves just for fun).

But this here is one druid doing it all by himself. It’s impressive, even though there’s a hunter nearby in case anything went wonky… sorta like a safety net at the circus.

When I really think about it, the new WoW expansion is easily my most anticipated title of the year even though I’ve barely scratched the surface of what the Outlands have to offer. Either way, a bunch of different sites were invited to Blizzard to check out some new stuff concerning their 10 million pound gorilla. (By the way Blizzard, our invite must have gotten lost in the mail. Just send us a couple beta keys for Starcraft II and Wrath and we’ll call it even.)

Oh baby, these little bastards and that horrible murky moan haunted my dreams during some early questing in World of Warcraft. Hell, I remember heading back to a low-level area with these guys to just mow through them for fun. Serves ‘em right.

Although that murloc suit given away at Blizzcon WAS THE SHIT.
