Let's be honest, this week's title is a weak one. Kev and I sit this one out. The Canadian wonder twins don't really discuss the game too much, other than to say it's coming out this week. But I've been in Chicago all weekend and I don't really like either of them enough to listen to the whole thing. I keed! I keed!

This time you WILL hear them talk about:

  • Whatcha Been Playing?
  • The Sony press event
  • News Bits & Other Bytes
  • New releases

This Week's BitCast Music:

Song: "The Moon and the Prince"

Artist: Kenji Ninuma

Album: Katamari Damacy OST

You're kinda off on the controls for Brawl, too. A button is normal attacks and combos. Hitting A while pressing forward lets you do a..well..forward attack. A and Forward at the same time does what's called a Smash Attack. It's been that way since the original game. It sounds weird I guess, but it works. Well, works with the control stick. I don't see how it'll work with the control pad, but eh. I'll be sticking with Gamecube controls, I might be trying Nunchuck style, too.

Sorry Dex, but I have to side with Jimmy here, Super Smash Bros. is a bit overrated. There's really not much to the game, yet it sells in droves and there are tournaments!

Team Fortress 2 is THE premiere multiplayer experience going these days.

Eh, once you get four people going at once that know how to play, Smash is pretty damn fun.

'Sides, I wasn't trying to argue over whether it was overrated or not, I was just trying to explain the controls a bit better to Xav. : )

Dammit Dex, I'm trying to argue, why do you have to be so level-headed!! This is the internet DAMMIT!

@Dex: Sorry, sine I've never played the series I had to relate it to the fighting controls of a Street Fighter-- hence the light, medium, hard attacks.

But the Wii-mote set up seems way too complex for the casual market; who is the majority owner of the system now.

@Xav: Nah, no need to be sorry, it's fine. I'm hoping you still plan on giving Brawl a try when it releases, though.

@Kevin: I have ascended to a level above mere internet fights. The petty squabbles of this realm no longer concern a being such as myself. :p
