Bitches

This is what happens when we skip a couple weeks. We all get constipation of the mouth that only gets relieved when we start talking to each other about what we've been playing. Next thing you know almost an hour has past and you're severely off track. It comes back together and though some things fall apart you can at least rest assured that it all gets rushed in the end.

Be sure to include your comments on what Xerxes3rd would like us to ponder!

This week we talk about:

  • What We've Been Playing
  • Halfie's Review
  • BitCast Byte Back

This Week's BitCast Music:

Song: Spoonman

Artist: Soundgarden

Album: Superunknown

SHOW NOTE: Click Here to check out the picture that Jimmy references when discussing Mega Man Powered Up.

A few things, regarding Mega Man Powered Up...
1) It *might* come to PSN...
http://www.gamerbytes.com/2008/06/capcom_plan_to_bring_psp_psone.php
It doesn't mention any specific titles or the nature of the release (PSP via PSN or pure PSN game), but it's clear at least that Sony wants to put some of the more obscure PSP releases up for PSN purchase, and I think the PSP Mega Man titles are likely candidates.

2) The Oil Man thing has been covered before
http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=7208651&publicUserId=5525398
Not the best example - geared mainly towards Loco Roco - but it mentions the Oil Man debacle and the fact that his palette was changed for North American release. Some further digging might uncover a more specific blog post or something, but it's not really relevant.

3) The game's awesome, and people really need to try it out. (Same with Maverick Hunter X - the Mega Man X remake for PSP) It's super fun, cute, and has a ton of things to unlock & do. The challenge mode is also extremely fun, and if you haven't tried it yet, Jim, I highly recommend it.
